Before the Session
When you first get in touch, I’ll send over the pricing guide so you can see the current package options and ask any questions you might have. Once you’re ready to book, we’ll talk briefly about your goals and select a session date that suits the look you’re hoping for (wildflowers in early summer, fall colors in fall, etc). I’ll then send you the link to make your deposit and lock in the date, and a questionnaire to fill out. The questionnaire will help me learn more about you, so we can make sure you absolutely love your session! 2-4 weeks before your session, we’ll have a quick consult at the studio (or Zoom, but in person is better!) where we’ll chat about outfit styling, locations, and any other ideas we come up with. We’ll finalize our locations (or plan to do a little scouting for the perfect spot) and make those final plans. You’ll then have 2-4 weeks for any last minute shopping and planning!
Session Day
It’s the day of your senior session! We’ll meet either at the studio (if you are having makeup done or have selected a studio session) or on location. I’ll give you a little mini class on posing and interacting with the camera so you have some modeling skills to work with. During the session I’ll guide you in posing, where to look, and what to think about to get those fun expressions! I’m always listening to your thoughts and opinions as well. This is a collaboration! We’ll look for the best spots and get a wide range of looks so you’ll have an awesome album of unique images. Feel free to bring along a friend who knows how to make you laugh. I just may put them to work!
After the Session
Shortly after the session I’ll pull a favorite image or two to share on my Instagram page as a sneak peek! Feel free to share this! About 1-2 weeks after your session, we’ll have your viewing and ordering session at the studio.
You’ll get to watch a slideshow via projection - it’s like watching yourself on a movie screen! Then we’ll go through the images together, compare similar images side by side, and compile your favorite images. With those images, we’ll then look at the possibilities! Albums, wall art, keepsake boxes, digital images.
After your order is placed, I’ll get busy with retouching, enhancing, and designing your final product! This takes 2-6 weeks, depending on the type of product you choose. When they’re ready, I’ll be in touch and we’ll arrange for pickup!
